According to the Schweizer Zeitung, OGC Nice is also interested in signing the Swiss. In the winter transfer period, FC Genoa is said to have offered around five million euros for Imeri. But a transfer did not materialize because the right footer wanted to end the season at Servette.

Imeri is flirting with a Bundesliga change

“The fact that I’m still here is because I still have to work a little more to take this step forward,” explained Imeri in the “Blick” interview about his temporary whereabouts. He himself would like to “leave Servette through the big door.”

“It’s my city’s team, the team I grew up with. Two or three clubs contacted Servette in the winter. I could have left earlier but I wanted to serve my time here, assert myself and my suitcase fill with experience,” Imeri explained.

When asked about his future, the Swiss international said: “The Bundesliga would appeal to me.” The coming weeks will show whether Eintracht Frankfurt will ultimately be awarded the contract.
