A new one arrived on Netflix at the beginning of March Vladimirseries starring British actresses Rachel Weisz and Leo Woodall.
The eight-part series is based on the author by Julia May Jonas to the work of the same name.
Vladimir is about a middle-aged female teacher (Weisz) who develops an obsessive crush on her colleague (Woodall). The woman’s sexual fantasies about the male teacher leave nothing to guesswork.
The series shows a scene where the character played by Weisz imagines a passionate moment with his colleague in the toilet.
– The viewer has direct access to what the character thinks and what he wants the viewer to think. What he wants the viewer to think is a little far from the whole truth, says Weisz Tudum in the interview.
– The series deals with themes related to desire, obsession, sexuality and lust. It also dives into the world of university campus gender politics and cancel culture.
Weisz has acted in several films during his career such as The return of the mummy, The Lobster, The Favourite and Agora. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film Faithful gardener.
