Zalando presents new campaign “Discover Beauty at Zalando”.

Berlin, April 1, 2022 // Zalando, one of the leading European online platforms for fashion and lifestyle, presents its new campaign “Discover Beauty at Zalando” in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, inviting everyone to present their beauty to the world.

In a short film, the digital-first launch features people from different backgrounds and countries who have one thing in common: their beauty routines. This routine is a universal act and depends on how each person wants to present themselves in this intimate moment.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Albert Moya, Discover Beauty at Zalando is about self-exploration, identity and the little moments of beauty that make us feel good. Whether applying eye masks in the back seat of a car or sharing makeup with friends, the new campaign reminds us that while our beauty routines may differ, they ultimately connect us.

The film features diverse artists and popular voices from across Europe, including actor Maximilian Mundt, a rising star in Germany best known for his role in How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast).

Before launching the campaign, Maximilian Mundt said: “It was so much fun working with Zalando on their latest campaign – who would have thought I would be featured in a beauty campaign? But the story the film tells really sums up what the brand stands for – a space where nobody has to pretend and everyone can be whoever they want. And I believe in that.”

Alongside Maximillian, the film stars Kicki Yang Zhang, a creative makeup artist known for using her face as a canvas and creating captivating looks, and Stella von Senger, model and makeup artist. They use beauty to communicate who they are and how they are feeling in the moment.

The marketing campaign will run from April 1, 2022 to June 24, 2022 across multiple channels including TV, OOH and the Beauty on Zalando social media channels.
