Wiel F. again in court after murder of second woman | Inland

At the time, he strangled his wife Johanna Jacobs (46) in Venray with a tie to prevent her from finding out about his towering debt. Their then 22-year-old son was still living at home at the time. The couple had been married for 25 years. On appeal, F. was sentenced to 8 years in prison.

After the murder of his second wife in the matrimonial home on Lindenstraat in Grevenbicht, he turned himself in to the police a day later. Tiny Olfen married Wiel F. 10 years ago, after her first husband died of cancer. F. also killed the couple’s dog.

The motive for the murder has not yet been revealed. During a pro forma hearing on January 10, an investigation into his mental faculties was still awaited.
