Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo has collaborated with New York-based fashion designer Hana Tajima. The result is a Spring/Summer 2022 LifeWear apparel collection that will be available from April 14th.
The five-piece dress collection with four matching stoles includes comfortable and elegant designs that are suitable for both everyday and special occasions. “The theme for this season is ‘An Expression Emerges’, a clothing collection designed to express the individuality and personality of a woman of all ages,” says Uniqlo.
Simple and versatile, each dress embodies Hana Tajima’s iconic style in bright, nature-inspired colors such as rich blues and greens, with playful and original details. In addition, they offer a high level of comfort in fabrics that have been finished with salt shrinkage to achieve greater density.
Dresses with puff sleeves create delicate shapes and are made of lightweight material, while elegant camisole dresses with a flowing hem can be combined with shirts or blouses. Large stoles with floral patterns should give every outfit a special accent.
“I wanted to create a sense of lightness and playfulness with this collection. There is something fascinating about clothes. A single garment that creates an entire look, exciting and iconic. The subtle details and textures come alive on the body, moving with it. The prints and colors embody a special feeling of joie de vivre in spring,” Tajima comments on the collection in a press release.
The dresses cost between EUR 19.90 and EUR 59.90 and the stoles EUR 24.90 each. The collection will be available from April 14th via the Uniqlo website.
