Seven people, including three children, were killed in Russian shelling on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on Sunday evening, the regional public prosecutor’s office reported. 34 others are said to have been injured. Ten houses and a depot for trolleybuses are also said to have been damaged.

Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city with a population of about 1.5 million before the war, has been suffering from Russian shelling for weeks.
