Parigi, 15 Jan. (askanews) – A day-event in Paris, with hundreds of fans who met to see their favorites and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the series produced by Shonda Rhimes, including dukes, countesses, fans and sumptuous dresses. In Stock Exchange Square, in the center of Paris, the key celebrations for the world premiere of “Bridgerton 4”, which will arrive on Netflix from January 29th with the first part.

Between thwarted loves, intrigues, gossip, high society balls, the series promises the usual mix of ingredients that are so popular, and some of the protagonists have arrived in France, including Luke Thompson, French-British actor who plays the role of Benedict Bridgerton and the Australian, with South Korean parents, Yerin Ha, who plays Sophie Baek, who season 4 will focus on. Benedict, the second son of Bridgerton, a tormented artist, will meet her at a masquerade ball and their story seems to be like an homage to the Cinderella fairy tale.

Luke Thompson said he loved his slightly rebellious character who couldn’t seem to find peace in love. “What’s innovative about Benedict is that his sexuality is more like a force within him, but it doesn’t necessarily seem to play a big role in terms of his sense of self and identity. And I think that’s quite innovative, which isn’t true of a lot of male characters. So I think it’s very nice to have something different, he could have ended up with anyone, I think,” he told Paris.

And the new entry revealed: “I would say it’s a bit of a Cinderella with a twist, it’s not really Cinderella, there’s class warfare and a forbidden love story“. “It’s the first time in Bridgerton that we really see the world of servants, so we don’t just look at the noble class, because Sophie is a waitress, and the entire plot develops thanks to her charactertells how two people from different worlds try to make it.”
