An accident on the A28 near De Punt caused a long traffic jam this morning. For unknown reasons, two cars collided in the direction of Groningen.
At least one car had to be towed away. The occupants were unharmed.
The accident happened in the left lane, which therefore had to be closed to traffic. This caused a traffic jam of 10 kilometers. Traffic should take into account a delay of more than half an hour, the ANWB reports.
Traffic on the N34 between Zuidlaren and the A28 is also affected by the closure. There was a traffic jam of 5 kilometers. Motorists should also take into account about half an hour delay on that route.
