My husband and I disagree on how high the thermostat should be set. I think 16 degrees is fine. My husband, 12 years older, who likes to walk around the house wearing clothing that is not too warm, thinks 20 degrees is the minimum. So while watching TV and getting a cup of tea or a glass of wine, the thermostat is turned slightly but unnoticed in the opposite direction. My visiting son hears our story and wisely decides that this is a thermo coup.
