Fewer NS Sprinters will drive between Assen and Groningen during rush hour on Monday. NS is running according to the winter timetable due to the expected icy conditions next night. This can cause frost to form on the overhead lines.
NS also reports that the full number of trains is not yet available.
The winter timetable mainly affects intercity trains in the Randstad, but also affects Sprinters in the North. The plan is for all trains to run according to the normal timetable again from Tuesday.
