Daphne Govers, the ex-wife of darts player Michael van Gerwen, has given birth to daughter Mila. The little one was born on Friday. “Welcome to the world dear little Mila,” the proud mother writes on Instagram.
Last May, the Brabant darts player announced that he and Daphne were divorcing. It was not an easy period because not much later his father turned out to have cancer.
He also became involved in a fight in a döner tent in Den Bosch. Van Gerwen decided to temporarily put the darts aside because ‘he wouldn’t pull it off’.
Pregnancy not planned
Soon after the divorce, rumors spread that Daphne was in a new relationship and that she was pregnant by her new boyfriend Robert. She confirms this herself a little later Show news. According to her, the pregnancy was not planned.
