Born in New York, USA, Petrucelli started his basketball career at Molloy College at the college level and started his professional career after university in NBA organizations, playing in the NBA Summer League and G-League levels for Orlando Magic. The 33-year-old basketball player also played in Europe for Ratiopharm Ulm, Germani Brescia and finally Trapani Sharks.
