A bus driver was assaulted at the station in Assen at the beginning of the afternoon yesterday. A 29-year-old man was arrested for this.
The suspect is a man of no fixed abode. For unknown reasons, he took out his frustrations on the bus driver. He punched the driver in the face and smashed a glass wall.
“We are investigating what happened,” the police said. “To do this, we hear witnesses and look at camera images.”
