Peter Pannekoek is not concerned about the criticism that Bram Moszkowicz has expressed at his New Year’s Eve conference. According to the comedian, the fact that he thinks Marjolein Faber is a winner actually says enough.

Peter Pannekoek’s New Year’s Eve conference was not to everyone’s taste. According to Bridget Maasland, the joke density of his program was much lower than normal. And Bram Moszkowicz was also not enthusiastic. He thinks it’s silly that the comedian made jokes about former asylum minister Marjolein Faber. He called her Marjolein Fabel.

“Isn’t that nice?”

What does Peter think about that? He says to a reporter from Show news: “I also heard Bram Moszkowicz say to you that he thought Marjolein Faber did a very good job as a minister. Look, yes, we really differ fundamentally in that.”

He continues: “A lot of people really liked it and the fact that a few people like Bram Moszkowicz liked it less is completely good. Isn’t that nice? That’s also the Netherlands, isn’t it?”

Laughter track

Peter denies using a laugh track. “You guys have also mentioned the word ‘laugh track’ somewhere. That’s just complete nonsense. It’s just a gigantic hall and this is the laugh you hear. But what I understand very well: nothing is more irritating than hearing people laugh at something that you don’t find funny.”

It wasn’t that bad, Bram responds in the studio. “I said about him calling her ‘Fable’… I didn’t think that’s what you think: did you think about that for a year? For the rest I thought he was perfect, fine. So at least he watches News of the Day and Show News, I understand.”
