Tomas Cvancara has been released by Borussia Mönchengladbach to hold talks with other clubs, according to consistent reports. This is what the foals reported. Unlike at the beginning of the week, the 25-year-old striker was no longer in the Bundesliga team’s team training on Wednesday.

The Czech Cvancara, who came from Sparta Prague in the summer of 2023 for 10.5 million euros, moved to the Turkish first division club Antalyaspor six months ago. According to the then sports director Roland Virkus, the loan was supposed to be “a new chance to realize your potential.” However, this was canceled prematurely. The reason: A lack of salary payments prompted the professional to lodge a complaint with the world association FIFA.

As a result, Cvancara was no longer taken into account in sports in the past few weeks, it was reported. Antalyaspor had not paid the offensive man any salary for three and a half months. As part of the loan deal, it was said in the summer that the Turkish club would cover the player’s wages in full. Cvancara’s contract on the Lower Rhine is dated until 2028. He was never really able to meet the high expectations attached to the transfer fee. In 54 games for Gladbach he had eight goals and two assists. His market value was raised to 12 million euros shortly after moving to Borussia, but it is now less than a quarter of that.
