In the Minusinsk district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a state of emergency was introduced due to a fire that burned down 20 houses in the SNT, reports TASS with reference to the information of the Unified Duty Dispatch Service of the district.
According to the local portal NGS24.ru, garbage caught fire in the forest near the Kooperator holiday village near Minusinsk, because of the strong wind the fire spread to the trees, and then to the buildings. As a result, the fire destroyed 20 country houses. Residents were evacuated, a temporary accommodation center was organized on the basis of a local school.
As of 19:55 Krasnoyarsk time (15:55 Moscow time), firefighters localized the fire, NGS24.ru reports. 250 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 60 pieces of equipment and a fire train participated in extinguishing the fire. Information about the victims has not yet been received, the portal clarifies.
