Details about the funeral and time of death of the late The Cure musician Perry Bamonte have now become public. Accordingly, the 65-year-old died on Christmas Eve and his funeral is planned for January 30, 2026.
On a specially created website it says: “A celebration of Perry Bamonte’s life. Perry Archangelo Bamonte (Teddy) Passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on Wednesday 24th December 2025 aged 65 years. Cherished husband of Donna, Much loved son of Pete and Joy, Loving brother of Daryl, Carla and the late Karen, Adored uncle and great uncle, Beloved son in law, Brother in law, Nephew and cousin. Sadly missed, remembered with love by all his family, friends and fans across the World. Funeral service to take place on Friday 30th January 2026, Attendance by invitation only. Donations in memory of Perry may be made to Devon Air Ambulance Trust and The Dogs Trust – Thank you.”

There are numerous expressions of condolence on the donation website. And by Thursday afternoon (January 1, 2026), around 1,230 British pounds (around 1,440 euros) had been collected in donations.
Cure members Roger O’Donnell and Reeves Gabrels have already said goodbye to Perry Bamonte online. His death was announced on December 26th via the Cure website.
