The fire affects the neighborhood, and also the parent council of De Wijnberg in Wevelgem. Two children in the family attend school there. “We would like to start a collection campaign from our school,” they write online. “Anyone who can spare something will help this family move forward again.”
This morning they collect items such as storybooks for toddlers, kitchen utensils, toys or moving boxes. The parent council calls for items to be brought into the school dining room. Financial donations are also welcome to the parent council account.
