MTV’s big series investment at the end of the year is a drama series Fraud. The main character of the series, Riku, infiltrates the inner circle of Helsinki’s rich elite. Deep in debt, Riku has made a plan to take revenge, but he finds that he is enjoying his new wealthy lifestyle – and his secret relationship with the reserved Linda – a little too much.
The main role of Riku is played by Daniel Virtanen. Virtanen has done smaller roles as an actor before. However, his parents are better known in Finland: Virtanen’s mother is an actress Eija Vilpasfather actor Ville Virtanen.
I’m cheating the first episode aired on Sunday, November 30. After this, MTV3 has shown one new episode a week, and today it’s the fifth episode. The paid Katsomo+ service will be able to watch the second to last, or seventh, episode today.
On the television side, the series is not about the actual giant hit. The opening episode gathered an average viewership of about 270,000 viewers on the television side. However, the following episodes did not reach MTV3’s 20 most watched programs of the week. He reports on the viewership numbers of Finnish channels Finnpanel.
Instead, on Katsomo’s side Fraud has found its audience. MTV tells Iltalehti that Fraud has been the second most watched program of the streaming service in November–December. It has reached the top spot I’m cheating past only a permanent favorite Encrypted Lives.
Other programs in Katsomo’s top ten are: Damn game and First date at the altarwhose final episodes were shown between November and December, continued in November with a new season Utopia and received a new season in December Triangle drama-reality.
