Victor studies Psychology. He will start the exams on January 8. He prepares in the chapel of the Care and Welfare Residential Care Center in Passendale. He studies there every day with a friend. Victor Plantefever, Psychology student: “It is easier here, because at home you are more likely to be distracted. You can get into bed earlier there, but here it is more difficult. That provides a certain motivation when you see other people studying.”

Also interaction with residents

The students study in the chapel room. It started with three students, but due to its success, an additional space has already been provided. They receive free snacks and coffee while studying. And if you want, you can certainly join the residents for a cup of coffee. Aline Meseure, Residential Care Coordinator: “The residents respond positively. It is a breath of fresh air in the house. We also try to provide some interaction between residents and students. We also try to pass by with a coffee or a pancake. They can certainly join the residents for a cup of coffee.”

Students can go to the residential care center to study until January 31.
