Kiekko-Espoo’s head coach Jyrki Aho uploaded a harsh text after the losing Kärpät match.
The people of Oulu won the colorful match 4–3. Aho was upset by the team’s weak start, as Kärpät started the third set with a 4–1 lead.
– Me vi, beep, know. Frankly speaking, Aho started the coaches’ press conference after the match.
– The beginning was absolutely catastrophic shit. It was defended so poorly that Kärpät earned a goal from each of its three positions. There were such stupid tricks. And then we lost the match in the end, Aho bewitched.
Aho was not warmed by the team’s great rise back into the fight.
– We created chances, yes, but then when we should have scored goals, we ran around nicely and didn’t realize how to go together towards the goal at the right time. In the last period, chances were created and then it was a game of goals.
However, the hard work was not rewarded.
– But it doesn’t matter how you create scoring chances, if you don’t create those goals. The opponent was effective today. I’m not quite sure, but goal chances aren’t counted, goals are. And those points are shared from them.
– To be honest, I’m still beeping what I’m going to say. I hope others will be taken into the pot, so to speak. It’s that long, Aho stated.
