It concerns an 18-year-old man and two boys aged 16 and 15. They all come from Haarlem, the police report.
During St. Martin’s Day, several children were robbed of their candy near Laan van Angers and England Park. Children were also pushed to the ground. One victim was taken to hospital for checks, police confirmed at the time.
Teenagers in skeleton masks
According to reports, the perpetrators were about ten people and have worn masks. A Burgernet message talked about skeleton masks and boys around the age of sixteen.
A total of six minor victims, together with their parents, filed a report. The police immediately started an investigation. Camera images were viewed, witnesses were spoken to and a Burgernet message was sent. Neighborhood research was also carried out in the following days. That ultimately led to the three arrests.
The police have not ruled out more arrests.
