Story boss Guido den Aantrekker is really pissed off that his DPG Media colleagues from NU.nl are insinuating that his magazine has made a deal with Marco Borsato. “Stupid!”
The latest Story has a controversial cover, because we see Marco Borsato posing intimately entwined with his ex Leontine Ruiters. The photo was taken in her driveway, shortly after his acquittal. According to the NU.nl gossip podcast, there is clearly a deal between Marco and Story paparazzo Edwin Smulders.
‘Call Edwin!’
Roos de Ridder from NU.nl’s The Backbiting Podcast states that Story’s photo was not exactly taken secretly. “In that photo they looked very much as if they had posed for a moment.”
Colleague Maxime Jobs thinks Marco is very sophisticated. “So it wouldn’t surprise me if he already has someone in his employ, a media manager or whatever you call it, to figure out how best to get him back. The first step: ‘Call Edwin!’”
Guido pissed off
Story editor-in-chief Guido den Aantrekker, known to the general public from Shownieuws, is very angry about this. “Haha, those entertainment ‘experts’ from NU.nl, as usual, have no idea what they are talking about,” he fumes. X.
“But it’s nice to have another podcast filled with stupid nonsense, and never even get any news of its own. ‘Journalistic’ parasites without any talent of their own. Good for us. 😉”

It bothers Guido that the makers of that NU.nl podcast didn’t just call. “Don’t even ask us what it really is. What wretches.”
When someone points out that they are his colleagues, Guido replies: “You said it. Never noticed anything. 😉”
