Yet not everyone is happy with all the hustle and bustle. Many Bruges residents complain: they believe that their city is no longer liveable in December. “The problem is that you cannot use a sign to regulate who is and who is not allowed in,” says Dirk Vanhegen, chairman of Het Brugs Handelscentrum.
