Sakaryaspor Club President Muhammet Kıratlı, in his statement on his social media account, stated that it is a great honor and responsibility for him to serve the club and that he has been working with all his might for the benefit of the team since the day he took office.
However, at this point, Kıratlı stated that he sees a need for a new energy and a management approach that can work more intensively in front of the club and said, “For this reason, I am leaving my duty as president in order to pave the way for Sakaryaspor and allow our community to continue on its way with fresh motivation.” he said.

“I would like to thank our Sakarya Governor, Mr. Rahmi Doğan, whose support I have always felt throughout my term of office, our AK Party Deputy Chairman, Mr. Ali İhsan Yavuz, our Türk-İş Chairman, Mr. Ergün Atalay, our Sakarya MPs, our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mr. Yusuf Alemdar, our district mayors, valuable business people, our sponsoring companies, valuable representatives of our press, our board of directors and the team that works day and night. “I would like to thank my friends, all our veterans working in our club, our green and black loving fans who have supported us since the first day I took office, and I ask our entire community to forgive us.
