Un intense love, of those who leave their mark, so much so that when Stefania Sandrelli talks about Gino Paoli it seems like we can still glimpse something of that feeling, even though many years have passed since they were a couple.

The actress spoke about the singer-songwriter to Beasts (the episode will air on Tuesday 2 December), including anecdotes and memories. There was a great passion between them. “We have made love also on top of St. Peter’s Basilicaon the staircase towards the dome”, confessed the actress, “But don’t tell the Pope.”
The two met in 1962, she was just 15 years old and he was already famous, as well as married to Anna Fabbri. «We got a lot of satisfaction. The most difficult moment

Stefania Sadrelli and Gino Paoli officially broke up in 1969. Together they had a daughter, Amandaborn in ’64, born the same year as Johnthe son of Paoli and Anna Fabbri, A Beasts the actress also recalled the period of separation from Amanda, who went to live with her father when she was 8 years old. At the time Sandrelli was married to Nicky Pende, who had alcoholism problems: «I suffered a lot. I separated from my husband, I couldn’t give up my daughter.”
