ABN Amro gives AEX shine with significant job losses; Wall Street also higher

Investors on Wall Street closed their doors behind them again on Tuesday in good spirits. The Nasdaq initially appeared to take a step back after Monday’s rally, but closed 0.7 percent higher. In Amsterdam, ABN Amro was lifted with a 6.5 percent profit after announcing a job reduction. The AEX gained 0.6 percent and ended at 932.8 points.
