Lhe Swedish royal family posed for the new official portraits. All the royals posed before the eye by court photographer Linda Broström: King Gustavus and Queen Silvia and the heirs to the throne, Princess Victoria with her two children Estelle and Oscar, then her brother Carl Philip with his wife Sofia and his sister, Princess Madeleine. Between tiaras, jewels and dresses, the “shooting” was really precious. Of note is the look of Victoria of Sweden.
Victoria of Sweden, low cost look
Princess Victoria wore for one of the portraits a majestic, sustainable (and recycled) dress by the low cost giant H&M which, as is well known, was born in the Scandinavian country. The dress is part of the Bespoke e collection features a water-based print with a gradient effect made with mulberry silk and organic linen. The royal had worn it for the first time in 2015 for the wedding of her brother Carlo Filippo. Also for her wedding he chose a dress, so to speak, “low cost”. As well as for the 10th wedding anniversary portrait.
The jewels worn for the occasion embellish the combination. As the magazine explains Tatler, the “bible” of the aristocrats, the future queen chose the Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara, it once belonged to Napoleon Bonaparte’s wife, the Empress Josephine. The other tiaras are very precious and full of history. Queen Silvia exhibited the Swedish Cameo Tiara, a gift from Carlo Gustavo to his wife in the 1980s.
