The clothing supplier Fuchs Schmitt GmbH & Co. KG and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Heiko Lenz are going their separate ways after just a few months.

“After a short time, both parties realized that they were not suitable for each other. That’s why we separated on the best of mutual terms,” the company confirmed when asked by FashionUnited. The trade magazine Textilwirtschaft (TW) had previously reported on the personnel.

Lenz was only introduced as the new COO by Fuchs Schmitt in mid-August. He came from the textile retailer Hallhuber, where he had worked as Head of Purchasing & Supply Chain Management. At Fuchs Schmitt he was supposed to manage procurement, logistics, human resources and customs. But now there was a quick separation.

In the future, Lenz’s previous tasks will be “taken over by Bernhard Zang on an interim basis until a succession plan has been drawn up,” the company said.
