Hamburger SV is one of the largest clubs in Germany. The news ticker on t-online contains all the important reports about the “Rothosen”.
The HSV commented on the security situation in football stadiums as part of the discussions surrounding the Conference of Interior Ministers. The board members Eric Huwer and Stefan Kuntz emphasized that security is “not a static condition” and can only be achieved through close communication between the club, fans, associations and authorities. In Hamburg we work every week to keep the Volksparkstadion safe.
At the same time, Huwer and Kuntz called for greater involvement in political decisions. Measures that affect football and its culture require transparency and the participation of all relevant actors, the club said.

For the first time, HSV is organizing Christmas singing in the Volksparkstadion. On December 9th, fans can get in the mood for the contemplative season from 5:30 p.m. The HSV invites you to a “get-together in a sea of blue lights and with winter delicacies,” the club announced on Friday.
“Christmas Bakery” inventor Rolf Zuckowski and the Elbkinderland choirs will provide the musical accompaniment. Abschlach and the HSV Supporters Choir will also be on stage.
Tickets are available from Tuesday, November 25th (10 a.m.) in the HSV ticket shop.
Former HSV professional Toni Leistner is specifically concerned with the end of his career. The 35-year-old central defender told the “Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung” that Hertha BSC will definitely be his last club.
Leistner’s contract expires next summer. He left it open whether the defender, who has been playing for Hertha since 2023, would extend his contract. “The body feels good right now. But things can look completely different at the end of the season. But I have communicated this with the club so that we always only discuss it at the end of the season,” said Leistner.
A possible promotion could influence his decision. After the recent winning streak, Hertha is within reach of the promotion places. With a win on Friday evening against Eintracht Braunschweig The Berliners would temporarily move up to fourth place.
Toni Leistner failed to return to the HSV in the 2020/21 season Bundesliga. The defender went under Daniel Thioune and Horst Hrubesch to 20 competitive appearances (one goal).

The Hamburger SV must play in the away game against the FC Augsburg on Saturday to his injured captain Yussuf Poulsen waive. “This is a minor injury”; said Polzin about the Danish striker’s muscle injury. The 35-year-old coach said at the press conference that it “certainly won’t take that long” until Poulsen is back on the pitch. However, there is no exact forecast for the return. This is Poulsen’s third loss since moving to HSV.
