The September boxing night still speaks.

Jere Karalahtea boxed against Matias Niemi said on his Instagram account on Thursday that he has not yet received his match fee from the September event.

It was another person involved in the F2F Event boxing event who opened up about it publicly.

Started the discussion Omos “Opa” Okoh on Wednesday. Okoh, who was responsible for marketing the event said on his social mediathat F2F would not have paid him the promised remuneration for the work.

Now Niemi, who was seen in the main match, is telling the same message.

– Have I not received the match fee? Yes. Does it hurt? Well, actually no. Actually, it mostly makes me laugh, Niemi said on video.

According to Niemi, he had a written contract and a fixed fee that was not based on e.g. streaming income. He said that he knew that there were financiers behind F2F.

– We were assured that even if everything went to the forest, the premiums would be paid. And that information was enough. The funny thing is that I was warned countless times that this could happen. I defended them [tapahtumajärjestäjiä]because I want to believe that even after this, people will be straightforward and that agreements will be kept.

There were some big problems with buying the F2F live stream. According to the organizer, a “cyber attack” was carried out on the site that sold viewing rights, which caused many people to miss the live broadcast completely.

Niemi says that he has experienced all kinds of things as an entrepreneur and that he has learned from it. That’s why the remuneration issue doesn’t bother him. In addition, he still considers getting to a boxing match to be a “really great experience”.

– I love to play sports and I would do it anyway. I only remembered after the match that yes, I will still get paid for this.

Niemi won the match on points decision.

They were paid

Timo Lainetta boxed against Amin’s Customer confirmed to Iltalehte on Friday that he has received all the money as agreed and quickly after invoicing.

Niemi said in his Instagram video that he feels sorry for others, especially “Opan”. The same was stated by Asikainen, who said that it was thanks to “Opa” that so many admission tickets could be sold for the evening. Around 5,000 spectators were present at the ice rink in Helsinki.

Known as a social media influencer, ex-criminal “Opa” Okoh produced content for F2F’s social media accounts with hard input for months.

Stop reached out to Okoh after working as a producer and coordinator Nilufär Soleimani’swho said he received compensation from F2F. He spoke the same to his managers by Daniel Forsberg on behalf of. Forsberg boxed Sebastian Johansson against.

Iltalehti could not reach the promoter of F2F Arslan Khataev to comment on the matter.
