A remarkable statement came from the Turkish Football Federation. In the statement made by the Federation, “Turkish Football Federation: “Our request for an additional transfer period, which we sent to FIFA on November 10, 2025, was not accepted on the grounds of international transfer rules, with the response letter sent by FIFA on November 15, 2025.”
HERE IS THE EXPLANATION:
Our request for an additional transfer period, which we, as the Turkish Football Federation, forwarded to FIFA on 10 November 2025, was not accepted on the grounds of international transfer rules, with the response letter sent by FIFA on 15 November 2025.
In this regard, leagues will be played as planned and previously announced.
However, the transfer period for amateur football players continues until 27 November 2025. In this regard, in accordance with the current status, TFF 3rd League Clubs have the right to register football players born on or after 01.01.2005, write them on the competition name list and have them play.
In the TFF 2nd League Status, it has been regulated that amateur football players born on 01.01.2005 and registered with their club for at least 6 months can be written to the competition name list without being written to the A Team List.
As in the TFF 3rd League, amateur football players born on or after 01.01.2005, whose transfer was made, were allowed to play in the TFF 2nd League without waiting for 6 months.
In order to solve the staff problem of the clubs, the following status changes have been made.

d) Clubs may allow registered professional football players who were born on or after 01.01.2005 and are eligible to play in the Turkish A National Team to play in competitions without being included in the A Team List. If these football players have been registered with their club for the last 6 months, they are not required to become professional football players, provided that they have completed the age of 15.
