Major riots at “lost generation” protest in Mexico City: 60 officers injured

Disturbances broke out at the end of a large protest march in Mexico City. A crowd has dismantled the barriers protecting the National Palace. That is the seat of government where Mexican President Claudia Scheinbaum lives. According to the police, sixty officers were injured. Forty officers have been taken to hospital. Twenty people have been arrested. They are accused of assault, violence and theft.
