Pertti “Nipa” Neumann describes Lasse Norre as a unique person.
Influencer in the music and entertainment industry Lasse Norres died today, Friday, at the age of 73.
Norres already became known in the 80s as Dingo’s manager.
Dingo’s soloist and frontman Neumann heard about Norres’ passing from a journalist.
– Now it came hard and high, Neumann says quietly to Iltalehte.
– I’m here on Mannerheimintie, and looking at this reminds me of how often we’ve gone and walked this way together.

Dingo caused completely unprecedented hysteria in Finland. Dingo’s concerts attracted thousands of young people, and teenage fans in particular screamed, cried and fainted. Dingo was also featured on television, in newspapers and on the radio.
– Within the framework of Dingo, we experienced big and comprehensive things that few, if any, have experienced.
Neumann wonders if there are any more people like Norres, who was involved in so many.
Like many others, Neumann highlights Norres’ positivity and cheerful spirit.
– You can count the moments when Lasse was in a bad mood on the fingers of one hand. Even in difficult situations, he always saw a positive angle. Lasse was also very open to everyone, including the media and musicians. It must have been difficult at times, but Lasse had the ability to turn everything around, so that everyone was in a good mood.

Neumann describes that he and Norres were carved from the same tree. There was no need to twist things out of iron wire, but communication was easy.
– We knew each other for such a long time that of course there were sometimes some small bumps along the way, but we got through them. We were kindred spirits.
At the end of the call, Neumann still wants to convey his condolences.
– My warmest condolences to Sari’s wife and children. It is important for me to say this.
