“Hello cruel world / I’m not going away / So I might as well have my say,” sings Joe Jackson on his new record “Hope And Fury”. It will be released on April 10, 2026. The tireless musician is also going on a world tour. There are eight gigs planned in Germany in October and November 2026.

With the music hall homage “Mr. Joe Jackson presents Max Champion in ‘What A Racket!'” the singer recently appeared playful and more of a music historian. The new songs, which promise to be funky, are again based entirely in the present. They were created in Michael Tibes’ Berlin Fuzz Songs Full of Contrast, Humor and Heart Factory studio and in New York at Reservoir Studios.

Also in the studio were bassist Graham Maby (Jackson’s constant companion for decades), guitarist Teddy Buddy and drummer Doug Yowell, complemented by the Latin percussion of Peruvian Paulo Stagnaro. Joe Jackson describes his new album as “bicoastal Latin-jazz-funk-rock”.

On tour, the musician presents many of his new songs, but of course also plays some classics from his repertoire. The counterattacks are presented by ROLLING STONE. Tickets for all concerts (except Hamburg, as of November 11, 2025) are already available.
