Even under Danny Röhl there is nothing to be gained for the Glasgow Rangers in the Europa League.
In the 0:2 (0:2) home defeat against AS Roma, the Scottish top club again failed to score a goal; in the German football coach’s debut at the end of October, the Rangers clearly lost in Norway at Brann Bergen (0:3).
After four games, Glasgow is bottom of the table with no points and the prospects of progressing are getting worse and worse. Röhl, a former national team assistant coach, had succeeded the sacked Russell Martin as head coach at Ibrox Park the previous month.
Matias Soulé (13th) and Lorenzo Pellegrini (36th) scored for the guests from Italy before the break. The Rangers fought in vain for a goal. Glasgow have only scored one goal in the current competition.
