Lennart Karl will probably continue to score his goals for the record champions in the foreseeable future. According to reports, there is a clause regarding his coming of age.

FC Bayern Munich can apparently look forward to the long-term services of offensive talent Lennart Karl. According to information from the TV broadcaster Sky, the 17-year-old’s contract will be automatically extended for another year on the day he comes of age – i.e. on February 22, 2026. This would mean that the U17 national player would be tied to the record champions until at least 2029.

In addition to the term, the status of the contract will also change: Karl’s current youth contract will be converted into a professional contract, including a salary adjustment. According to the report, the new working paper does not contain an exit clause.

In terms of sport, Karl has recently been able to impress on several occasions – both nationally and internationally. He scored his first Bundesliga goal in the 3-0 win in Mönchengladbach, and he also scored a remarkable goal in the 4-0 win in the Champions League against FC Bruges.

This made him Bayern’s youngest goalscorer in the premier class and the youngest German goalscorer ever.

Karl has appeared six times for the professionals so far – once in the starting line-up and five times as a joker. According to the latest Bundesliga update, his market value rose by 18.5 million euros to 20 million. Karl is also already being discussed in the national team debate – national coach Julian Nagelsmann is said to be keeping an eye on the offensive player.
