Anyone who currently drives towards Ghent via E40 near Oostkamp will lose approximately 20 minutes.
The Flemish Traffic Center gives the following advice for long-distance traffic:
Bruges → Ghent: detour via A11/E34 + R4
Bruges → Antwerp: via A11/E34
Motorists are advised to take extra travel time into account.
