Footballer dies after collision with cow

A young footballer from Brazil was riding his motorcycle late at night. Then a herd of cows appeared on the road. A fatal collision occurred.
Mourning at the Brazilian amateur club Piauí Esporte Clube: Striker Antony Ylano died in an accident on Monday night. The 20-year-old collided with a cow on his motorcycle on the way home and died as a result of the accident.
According to local media, Ylano was walking in the town of Altos around 3:30 a.m. after attending his father’s birthday party. Surveillance videos show several cows suddenly crossing the road. Ylano crashes into one of the animals at high speed and falls. The cow hobbles away from the scene of the accident and the player remains seriously injured on the road.
Piauí EC said in an official statement: “The Piaui Esporte Clube is experiencing a moment of deep pain following the loss of 20-year-old striker Antony Ylano, who was the victim of an accident in the early hours of the morning in the city of Altos.”
Ylano had been under contract with the club since the beginning of the year. Because of the death, all club activities were canceled on Monday.
