Former BVB coach Edin Terzic has been without a club since the summer of 2024 and is apparently in no hurry to find a new club. According to various media reports, the 42-year-old has rejected several requests from European clubs. He is now considered a possible successor to Igor Tudor at Juventus Turin.
According to Sky, Terzic recently turned down an offer from Real Sociedad San Sebastián from Spain. The Spanish top club, which has been represented internationally for the last five years, is currently in 18th place in the LaLiga. The future of coach Sergio Francisco, who only took over from club legend Imanol Alguacil in the summer, is therefore at risk. Terzic rejected an offer – as well as previous jobs at AS Monaco and Everton FC.
According to Italian Juventus reporter Mirko Di Natale, another lead leads to the Bianconeri. Things are not going smoothly there either: after five draws in a row, there was a 0-2 defeat at Como 1907 last weekend. Coach Tudor has therefore been under close observation for weeks. If there is no noticeable upward trend in the coming games – for example in the Champions League away game at Real Madrid on Wednesday – Juventus should soon pull the ripcord.
In this case, Terzic would be an option alongside former Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino, who is also without a club, it is said. A contract until the end of the season with the option of another year is being considered. For Terzic, it would be the third club abroad after stints as assistant coach at West Ham United (2015-2017) and Besiktas (2013-2015).
