“It was a changeable night,” says NH weatherman Jan Visser on NH Radio. “But there were hardly any thunderstorms anywhere. That was expected.” The most rain fell on Texel, 10 millimeters.

It may still rain this morning, but it will clear up this afternoon. It will rain again tonight. It will be about 15 to 16 degrees. “The wind comes from southwest and blows strongly on the coast, above land it blows moderately,” says Visser.

Calm before the storm

“It doesn’t look bad for tomorrow,” he predicts. “Some showers, but also sun at 15 degrees. It seems like the calm before the storm.”

A depression may hit the Netherlands on Thursday and Friday, but it is not yet entirely clear how much of this will affect us. “There are calculations of wind gusts with wind force 9 or even 10, but it is still quite uncertain,” Visser explains. “It is clear that it will rain heavily during the night from Wednesday to Thursday.”
