Renate Gerschtanowitz certainly left SBS 6 with dissatisfaction, even though she explicitly denied this at the time. “The management has to stick to the agreements,” she complains.
It came quite unexpectedly to the makers of Shownieuws in 2019: presenter Renate Gerschtanowitz decided quite suddenly to resign from the show section. She denied arguing, but said: “I want to put my time and energy into something else. I will find out exactly what that will be in the near future.”
Back at Show
What did that ultimately become? Enjoy mothering at home. And she has some kind of cat website, which she briefly highlighted on television yesterday. Where? Bee Show news.
The brand new presenter Eva Vloon: “Back at our table: Renate Gerschtanowitz. How does it feel again? A new studio of course.”
Renate: “Very cozy and very familiar. A lot of new faces too. One old one! Great to be here again.”
At the old base
Eva is happy that Renate is back for a while. “You are not back at the old base, because when you still worked here, we were in a different studio.”
Renate: “It is of course a completely different building, but the logo…”
Eva: “Isn’t it a bit like coming home?”
Renate: “Yes, for sure. It was five or six years ago.”
Bart: “Will you come back again? Would you like to do it again?”
Disagreement
Renate then reveals that she left SBS 6 with dissatisfaction. “Well, you know, if the management hands me a contract in accordance with the agreements I had at the time, I wouldn’t be the worst at signing it. Listen: I really enjoyed working here, I always had very nice colleagues and I also really enjoy being on television.”
“People often have the idea that I have become some kind of allergic to cameras, but we just had a difference of opinion. If we do what we agreed, then I will just sign!”
