An Air China passenger flight had to make an emergency landing on Saturday after a fire broke out in the cabin. “A lithium battery spontaneously ignited in a passenger’s carry-on baggage stored in the overhead bin on flight CA139,” the airline said in a statement on Chinese social media platform Weibo.
