Energía del Sabor is an initiative of Naturgy Argentina that since 2016 has been accompanying the community in the NOA and Buenos Aires, places where the company has operations and provides gas service through networks to thousands of users.

During the month of childhood, the participants of this program—which provides tools to young people to develop in the world of gastronomy—gathered in different locations in the province of Buenos Aires with activities for the community. The objective: that they can transmit what they have learned in their gastronomic training, put their knowledge into practice and discover the transformative power of teaching through doing.

Together with UTHGRA, Western Zone Section, a special class was held where participants learned how to make cake pops. “What we generate here is to provide a tool so that the kids can generate some work or personal project related to cooking.”, commented Pablo Alejandrani, professor of the program.

On the other hand, at the AcaSi Community Center a very recreational activity was carried out with Energy of Flavor and Siloé that included games and a lot of creativity. The boys learned to prepare simple recipes to add to the family dynamic.

Cooking classes are fun for the kids and they leave here knowing something that will be useful for their daily lives.”said one of the students of the program who participated in this experience.

In addition, Energía del Sabor was also present at the Nordelta Foundation, together with the Peregrina team, sharing a very special day in the Las Tunas neighborhood. There, the students of the program cooked alongside mothers who learn about nutrition at the Foundation. In a playful context, a space for learning, delights and fun was opened. “They used food in a playful and attractive way”commented one of the teachers.
