Juventus likes it. Again. As was already discussed a couple of summers ago and again last summer. Milan Skriniar is back in the Bianconeri’s sights in search of a defender after Bremer’s new stop. And the Slovakian was one of the profiles studied after the Brazilian centre-back’s first and long injury. Back then, the former Inter captain was in trouble at the PSG of Luis Enrique who no longer counted on him, but nothing came of it. And in the end, Skriniar found a way out at Fenerbahçe, following Mourinho’s diktat who effectively put him at the center of the project, even tightening his armband since July, when he signed a four-year contract. In short, Skriniar is one of the key players of a team which is however in difficulty, and which has not yet recovered after the dismissal of the Special One.

A change on the bench, in favor of Domenico Tedesco, which however did not call into question the defender’s leadership. Also because since his arrival in Türkiye, Skriniar has played them all. Even if the time is not ripe, and even though the Superlig does not have the attraction of a European championship like Serie A, for the moment the defender remains focused on his club, where he is appreciated by fans and professionals. And to Istanbul, Skriniar brought his family. A clear signal of desire to remain in the long term. However, as he hoped to do in Paris, where everything changed in the space of a few months. Then as today, however, the biggest obstacle for Juventus remains the economic one. Even though he rejected important offers from Arabia, Skriniar in Türkiye accepted a slight downward adjustment of his Parisian salary, recovering it with a one-year extension of his contract, compared to what he had left at PSG. And we are not very far from ten million net, which makes any approach complicated. Even if the evolution of the season, among the current difficulties, could fuel the reflection of every interlocutor involved, in a year that is still crucial, given that it possibly leads to the World Cup.
