Gattuso held a press conference before the match against Israel on Tuesday, October 14, in Group I of the 2026 FIFA World Cup European Qualifications.
The experienced coach started the meeting by evaluating the ceasefire in Gaza and said, “We are happy that this ceasefire has been made. It is very emotional to see people in Gaza returning to their homes and lands. We will play our match tomorrow. There will be protests outside, but more than 10 thousand fans inside will support us.” he said.
