It was not so long ago that Renze Klamer was considered the big TV promise of RTL 4, but his TV career is now in the ditch due to the actions of Peter van der Vorst. “Get outta there!”
There is a lot of potential in Renze Klamer. He is by far the most talented and ambitious talk show host that RTL 4 has in house – Beau van Erven Dorens and Humberto Tan are in the final phase of their TV careers – but his talent is being squandered considerably. Boss Peter van der Vorst put him on the failed RTL Tonight.
Good option
Renze really suffers terribly from that program, because no one watches it at all and the 36-year-old presenter is therefore rapidly losing his relevance. And that’s really damaging at this stage of his career. Can’t the presenter just try harder to get out of his RTL contract?
TV authority Tina Nijkamp thinks that Renze would do best to work on a return to the NPO. And according to her, there is currently a very good option.

According to Tina, it is an opportunity that Renze cannot pass up: the talk show Pauw & De Wit is looking for someone who can replace Jeroen Pauw when he spends the winter in his second home in Curaçao.

Renze will undoubtedly still have a current contract with RTL 4, but Peter van der Vorst cannot help but have compassion for him. After all, it is Peter who has caused such serious damage to Renze’s career.
