After the success of the Olympic Festival on the beach of Middelkerke during the past Summer Games, the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee (BOIC) will return to the coast in 2026. From February 6 to 22, Middelkerke will be the setting for the very first Winter Olympic Festival.
The event takes place in the large parking lot in Koninginnelaan, where a large covered supporters village is being built with a warm winter atmosphere. Visitors can follow the performances of Bart Swings, Loena Hendrickx and the other Belgian athletes live on large screens.
