The homemade fireworks were found in a house on Pastoor Gielenstraat. The police spotted the address after a tip.
It is not clear exactly what type of fireworks were stored in the home. The police could also say nothing about the quantities.
The fireworks were examined, secured and detonated at another location. No one has yet been arrested for possessing fireworks.
