The new nursing post is located in the buildings of WZC Sint-Jozef in Oostkamp. Patients can be helped for simple worries without visiting, such as injections, wound care or disconnecting chemo. Only stoma care and toilet worries do not happen.
“The big advantage is that patients do not have to wait at home for the nurse,” says head nurse Sabrina Desmedt of the Oostkamp region. “They can make an appointment themselves, such as with the doctor, and thus plan their day more efficiently.”
